Raleigh, NC — Brittany Boltinhouse has been stripped of the Miss North Carolina USA 2026 title following what pageant officials described as a detailed review of resurfaced online content and related conduct concerns.

Blaize Productions and the Miss USA Organization announced the decision after evaluating multiple pieces of information attributed to Boltinhouse, noting that the behavior under review spanned an extended period.

Officials did not release specifics about the posts or conduct examined but said the findings did not meet the standards expected of a titleholder.

The Miss USA Organization reiterated its position that it does not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, or language that undermines personal dignity, emphasizing that the role carries public responsibility.

First Runner‑Up Myla Hadley has now assumed the Miss North Carolina USA 2026 title and will fulfill all duties associated with the position. Boltinhouse has not issued a public response to the decision.
