Michelle Hargis Crooks passed on August 3, 2026, at the age of 51. Michelle was a resident of Supply, North Carolina.
Michelle was born in New Hanover County on November 25, 1974 to Jerry and Janice Hinson Smith. Michelle and husband Steve owned and operated S & M Upholstery of Supply. She loved her family and her fur babies. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Hargis and her brother Chris Hargis.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Crooks of the home; her mother Janice Smith of Supply; two daughters, Jessica Datillo and husband Dan of Delaware and Hannah Alivia Evans of Indiana; two step-daughters, Marrisa Crooks and Tabitha Crooks of Seneca, S.C.; Step-son, Jamie Morris; a sister, Megan Garner and husband Eric of Belton, S.C.; sister in-law Mayana Hargis of Supply and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday August 9, 2026 at three o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou Ellen White Memorial Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
