It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lynda Lee Anaki Pesce, 83 on July 27, 2026.
Born on September 20, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, Lynda spent most of her life in New York before making her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was smart, funny, loving and full of opinions, with a sly sense of humor and strong personality that made her memorable to all that knew her.
Lynda received an Associates Degree in Computer Science. She later worked for NCR as a system analyst and computer programmer. Lynda was also part of the NCR team that installed the first hotel online reservation system at major hotels in NYC.
Lynda was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Edward; her children, Dennis Kast, Michael Kast, Christopher (Donna) Kast, Deborah (John) Ranieri and Michael Pesce; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Giovanna Kast, Meghan Kast, Ryan Kast, Gavin Kast, Lauren Kast, Nicholas (Stephanie) Ranieri, Thomas Ranieri, Alexa Ranieri; great-grandchild Anthony Ranieri, extended family, and many dear friends.
The family is grateful for the love, support, and prayers received during this difficult time. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Foundation of America or Dementia Society of America, if desired.
Though she will be deeply missed, Lynda will be remembered for her humor, honesty and unmistakable spirit. She was truly one of a kind and will not be forgotten.
