Johnny Everette Carlyle, 85, of Ash, North Carolina, died May 21, 2026. Born on September 11, 1940, he was a son of the late Sammy Everette Carlisle and Estelle Tripp Carlisle. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Hickman Carlisle, a daughter, Janette Hickman, and a sister, Mildred Stevens.
He was retired from the DuPont Corporation and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are sons; Johnny Ray Carlyle (Marta) and Randy Carlyle (Betty); a brother, Kenneth Carlisle; and a sister, June Gail Carlisle.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 3:30 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in the Carlisle Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel
