Jeanette Hinson McPherson age 79, of Chadbourn, died Friday, May 23, 2026, in her home. Born in Columbus County, NC., she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Ashley Hinson and Mary Soles Hinson.
She is survived by three sons, Avery McPherson, Jerome McPherson, Richard McPherson (Theresa), one brother, Scott Hinson (Patricia), grandchildren, Austen Symes, Britney McPherson, Kori McPherson, Logan McPherson, Hannah McPherson, Kolby McPherson. Great Grandchildren Harley McPherson, Jaydon McPherson, Peyton McPherson, Graydon McPherson, and Tatum Pittman. Great, Great Granddaughter Adleigh English.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Horace McPherson, brothers, Charles Hinson, Johnny Hinson, Ray Hinson, Wayne Hinson, nephew Wayne Hinson Jr., and grandson, Jason McPherson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 3:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn, NC.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
