James “Gerald” Holden, 56 of Southport, North Carolina passed away on August 8, 2026.
Mr. Holden was born March 1, 1970, son of the late Alexander Rudolph Holden and Coretha Gause Holden.
He is survived by his son, James Anthony Holden; a daughter, Luzina Hines and husband Jon; a step-daughter, Amber Goodwin; eight brothers and sisters; and his dear friend, Shanna Lewis.
Mr. Holden was preceded in death by a sister, Annie L. Joseph; and two brothers, Johnny Holden, and Cardell Holden.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 2:00pm at Christian Chapel, 5701 Ocean Hwy E., Winnabow, NC 28479.
