Myrtle Beach, SC — Horry County Police officers responded just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday to a reported shooting on the 3200 block of Waccamaw Blvd., locating evidence of gunfire outside Pub International.
A victim later arrived at a local hospital with a non‑life‑threatening gunshot wound. Preliminary findings indicate the individual was an uninvolved bystander struck during an exchange of gunfire between multiple people. The suspects left the area before officers arrived, and investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and following leads. The case remains active and ongoing.
Pub International said the incident occurred outside the building, in the area between the establishment and a neighboring fireworks store.
In a message to guests and the community, management stated, “Based on the information available to us, everyone is believed to be safe.” The business said its security team responded immediately, law enforcement was contacted without delay, and the establishment is fully cooperating with the investigation.
Management emphasized that the confrontation did not begin inside the business and described the situation as the first of its kind at the property.
The establishment said it remains committed to providing a safe environment and will evaluate any additional measures that may enhance security. Pub International expressed appreciation for staff, security personnel, first responders, and law enforcement, and said no further comments will be made until official information is released.
