Crews surpass 9,300 dispatched incidents for 2026 while maintaining countywide readiness
Horry County, SC — Over the past seven 24‑hour shifts, Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded to an average of 210 dispatched calls per day, covering Monday through Monday. This activity brings HCFR’s 2026 call volume to more than 9,300 dispatched incidents.
Crews remain busy, diligent, and well‑trained, maintaining readiness to assist residents and visitors across Horry County. Community members are encouraged to contact Horry County 911 whenever emergency assistance is needed.
