Steps temporarily removed during East 1st Street paving work.
Ocean Isle Beach, NC — The Town of Ocean Isle Beach has closed the High Point Street Beach Access until May 1, 2026, as crews begin paving the gravel section of East 1st Street. During the project, the access steps have been temporarily removed to allow construction to proceed safely and efficiently.
The town advises beachgoers to use nearby access points until the work is complete.
