Spring reminder for residents inside city limits
WHITEVILLE, NC — With spring in full swing, the City of Whiteville is reminding residents inside the city limits that leaf and limb pickup is available five days a week.
This is one of the busiest seasons for Public Works, and officials say they appreciate the community’s patience as crews work to reach every area as quickly as possible.
To help keep the process efficient, residents are asked to follow these guidelines:
– Place all leaf and limb debris in piles no larger than 5 ft x 5 ft x 5 ft
– Do not mix trash or other materials with yard debris
– Ensure piles are placed curbside and accessible for pickup crews
City officials say these steps help keep routes moving smoothly and ensure timely service for all neighborhoods.
