Columbus County Schools to Host Ceremony for Future Home of the East View Lumberjacks

BOLTON, NC — Columbus County Schools is inviting the community to witness a significant milestone in local education. A formal groundbreaking ceremony for the new East View School is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 10:00 a.m.

​The event marks the beginning of construction for a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve elementary and middle school students. Located at the intersection of N.C. 211 and N.C. 214 (Sam Potts Highway) in historic Bolton, the new campus aims to unite the East Columbus communities and provide enhanced modern learning environments for the district’s youth.

​Known as the future home of the East View Lumberjacks, the school represents a major investment in the region’s infrastructure and a commitment to long-term student success. District officials and local leaders are expected to attend the ceremony to celebrate this new chapter.
