WHITEVILLE, NC — The Columbus County Health Department is hosting a free community food drive today, Thursday, June 4, at 11:00 a.m., offering families an opportunity to pick up fresh food and pantry items at no cost.
The distribution will take place at 304 Jefferson Street in Whiteville, and is open to all. No registration or paperwork is required.
Health Department staff say today’s event is designed to support families facing food insecurity while also strengthening community connections. Attendees can drive up or walk up to receive food and speak with staff about available health resources and programs.
The event will continue while supplies last at the Columbus County Health Department located at
304 Jefferson St., Whiteville.
