Supplier alert prompts recall of capsules and powder; no illnesses reported as consumers urged to discard affected lots.
FDA RECALL: Total Nutrition Inc. said it is recalling two TNVitamins Organic Moringa products after a supplier reported possible Salmonella contamination in the raw moringa ingredient, prompting a nationwide voluntary recall published by the FDA on June 26. The company noted that no illnesses have been reported but urged customers to check their packaging for affected lot numbers.

The recall covers Organic Moringa Capsules, 1,200 mg, from lot 2800 with a February 2028 expiration date, and Organic Moringa Powder from lot 2782 with a May 2028 expiration date. Lot numbers appear on the bottom of each bottle and near the barcode, and the company said products outside these lots are not included.
The recalled items were distributed nationally through Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Target, and the TNVitamins website. The capsules are sold in white HDPE bottles containing 90 clear capsules filled with green moringa powder, while the powder comes in a white HDPE jar containing 96 grams.
According to the company’s announcement, Salmonella exposure can lead to fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, with more serious complications possible in young children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems. Customers who purchased the affected lots are advised to dispose of the products immediately and not eat, sell, or serve them.
