FDA RECALL: Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods has issued a Class I recall for multiple baked entrées and desserts after aluminum slivers were found in damaged baking pans used during production. The recall affects products distributed to Food Lion, Publix, Kroger, and Harris Teeter locations across both North Carolina and South Carolina, including stores serving Brunswick, Columbus, Horry, and Georgetown counties.

- Baked Spaghetti — 14.8 oz
- Baked Spaghetti (Bulk) — 62.4 oz
- Chicken Cobbler — 11.6 oz
- Chicken Cobbler (Bulk) — 48 oz
- Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce — 13.8 oz
- Bread Pudding Kit — 4 pounds
Production Window: July 1–30, 2026 with Best By Dates: July 6–August 5, 2026
A small aluminum fragment was discovered during a routine inspection of a baking pan, and a similar sliver was later found in a Chicken Cobbler unit. The supplier has isolated affected pan lots. No injuries have been reported.
Shoppers in North Carolina and South Carolina who purchased these items at Food Lion, Publix, Kroger, or Harris Teeter should not consume them. Products may be returned to the retailer for a refund.
