Brunswick County, NC –The entrance from N.C. 211 onto Pine Plantation Parkway is now closed as part of the ongoing N.C. 211 Widening Project in Brunswick County. Crews have shut down the connection while construction progresses along this section of the corridor.
Drivers heading to Pine Plantation Parkway from N.C. 211 will be routed onto a temporary detour at Pinetop Drive.
This detour will remain in place until all traffic on N.C. 211 is shifted north onto the newly constructed lanes, a milestone the project team expects to reach early this summer.
The closure is part of a larger, multi‑phase widening effort designed to improve safety and traffic flow between Midway Road and Southport.
