Residents asked to boil water for the next 24 hours
COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC — A boil water advisory is in effect for all Columbus County Water & Sewer customers from 3067 Peacock Road to 4944 Peacock Road after a service interruption caused low pressure in the line.
Boil water for the next 24 hours
Residents in the affected area should boil all water for one full minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, washing food, or making ice. Temporary discoloration or air in the lines may occur as service stabilizes. The advisory will be lifted once testing confirms the water is safe.
