Delco NC — Investigators with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office are searching for suspects following an early morning commercial burglary at a local convenience store.
Deputy Zachary Morris responded to the Delco Mini Mart, located at 25130 Andrew Jackson Highway, at approximately 1:28 AM on July 15. Upon arrival, the deputy discovered that the business had been forcibly entered.
According to incident reports, the suspect or suspects caused an estimated $500.00 in damages to the commercial business door to gain access to the property. Once inside, the perpetrator successfully stole approximately $980.00 worth of lottery tickets before fleeing the scene.
The incident has been officially classified as Commercial Breaking and Entering and Larceny. Anyone with information regarding this break-in is urged to contact the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
