Dosher Recognized with 2025 Performance Leadership Award by The Chartis Center for Rural Health

Hospital Announcement

SOUTHPORT, N.C. — Dosher Memorial Hospital has earned a 2025 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in patient satisfaction, placing among only six hospitals in North Carolina to receive this recognition. The award, presented by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, honors rural hospitals performing in the top quartile nationally (75th percentile or above) in Quality, Outcomes, and/or Patient Perspective.

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX®, a comprehensive, data‑driven framework used across the country to evaluate rural hospital performance. INDEX benchmarks are relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems, hospital associations, and state offices of rural health to assess key areas that influence operations, patient care, and financial stability.

Dosher Memorial Hospital continues its commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care to the Southport community and surrounding areas.
