The following arrest and booking information was extracted directly from the Columbus County Detention Center’s official release for the period of August 4 through August 6, 2026.

Major Incidents & High-Bond Arrests

  • Dan Juniot English III (18) of Tar Heel: Arrested by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office on August 5, 2026. He faces multiple felony charges, including first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm, and two counts of possessing a weapon by a prisoner. He was issued a secured bond of $250,000.

  • Christopher McPherson (41) of Whiteville: Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on August 4, 2026. He is facing a felony charge for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, as well as felony littering greater than 500 lbs, misdemeanor second-degree trespass, and two counts of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. His bond was set at $250,000 secured.

  • Rominique Alex Drayton (27) of Whiteville: Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on August 4, 2026. He was charged with a felony probation violation and violating a domestic violence protection order. His secured bonds total $75,000.

  • Rashard Anthony Royster (28) of Fayetteville: Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on August 5, 2026. He was charged with two counts of failure to appear on a felony and is being held on a writ. His bond was set at $50,000 secured.

  • Charles Jaechob Austin (28) of Whiteville: Charged with felony larceny after breaking/entering and breaking or entering. Held under no bond.

  • Brittnii Taylor Blake (33) of Crab Orchard, WV: Charged with driving while impaired (DWI), possessing an open container of alcohol in the passenger area, and failing to wear a seat belt. Bond: $2,500 secured.

  • Lamarious Bullock (33) of Henderson: Charged with simple assault. Bond: $2,500 unsecured.

  • Crystal Strickland (46) of Evergreen: Charged with DWI, misdemeanor child abuse, reckless driving with wanton disregard, failure to maintain lane control, and exceeding the posted speed. Bond: $2,500 secured.

  • Kelly Marie Williams (43) of Chadbourn: Charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $2,500 secured.
