COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC — As the 2025–2026 academic year draws to a close, high schools across Columbus County are preparing to honor their graduating seniors. Official commencement schedules have been finalized for both the Columbus County Schools district and Whiteville City Schools, with ceremonies stretching from late May through the first weekend of June.
Administrators have released specific dates, times, and venue plans to help families, friends, and community members celebrate the Class of 2026.
Columbus County Schools District Schedule
The county school system will kick off its graduation events prior to the end of the traditional school year with its early college program, followed by a sequential series of ceremonies for the traditional high schools over graduation weekend.
