Town Council will take comments on proposed text changes approved by the Planning Board.
The Town of Chadbourn will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at Chadbourn Town Hall, 602 North Brown Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on proposed text amendments to the town’s Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and updates to Chadbourn’s zoning districts.
The amendments were approved by the Chadbourn Planning Board on May 19 and are available for public review in the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The documents are also posted on the town’s website.
Town Council may vote on the amendments following the close of the hearing. Residents needing special accommodations are asked to contact 910.654.4148 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
