Cerro Gordo Woman Facing Probation Violation and Larceny Charges

CERRO GORDO, NC — A local resident is awaiting court proceedings following her arrest on probation violation and theft charges Thursday afternoon.

Deputies with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 38-year-old Paige Danielle Williamson of Cerro Gordo around 3:22 p.m.

Williamson was formally charged with misdemeanor larceny in connection with a local property theft. During processing, deputies also executed an outstanding warrant against her for a misdemeanor probation violation. She was booked into the county facility under a total $27,500 secured bond ($25,000 for the probation violation and $2,500 for the larceny charge).

Any individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
