David Pennell steps into the leadership role for the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Services Program
BOLIVIA, NC — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has appointed David Pennell as the new manager of the VOICE–South program within its Volunteer Services division.
Pennell brings a background in law enforcement from his early career, followed by years of professional experience in the private sector as a private investigator. His tenure with the department includes completion of Citizens’ Academy Class 38 and VOICE Class 23, and he has served within the VOICE–South unit since 2025.
Sheriff’s Office leadership announced the appointment to recognize his continued commitment to supporting public safety operations across the county.
