The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, July 6 at 3:00 p.m. to consider several major administrative items, including a construction proposal for the county’s Health and Human Services and Emergency Operations Center expansion.
The board will review a Guaranteed Maximum Price proposal from Edifice for Phase 2 services of the HHS/EOC Building Project, totaling $62,603,663. Approval would allow the project to move forward following the sale of Limited Obligation Bonds.
Commissioners will also evaluate a proposed contract with Raftelis to conduct a Storm Water Funding Feasibility Study, aimed at determining whether a countywide storm water utility could be established to support long-term infrastructure needs.
In addition, the board will consider adopting an Updated Water Shortage Response Plan, revising county procedures for managing drought and conservation stages.
The meeting will be held at the Sandifer Administration Building, Commissioners’ Chambers, located at 30 Government Center Drive, Bolivia.
