BOLIVIA, N.C. — The Town of Bolivia Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing on January 13, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to review two land use requests that would affect future development within the town limits. The meeting will take place at Bolivia Town Hall, located at 105 Danford Road.

The first request is a proposed text amendment to the town’s Planned Unit Development (PUD) standards. The amendment would reduce the required side yard setback from 8 feet to 5 feet, eliminate the minimum lot size requirement, and increase the open space requirement from 20% to 25%.

The second item is a Special Use Permit request in the C‑3 Commercial zoning district for the development of a volleyball complex classified under the town’s Sports & Recreation Complex category.

Town officials encourage residents to attend and participate in the hearing. For more information, the public may contact Bolivia Town Hall 910-253‑5303.
