Blood Drives Scheduled in Columbus County for the Month of May

Blood Connection and the American Red Cross will host donation events this month.

Columbus County residents will have opportunities in May to donate blood through The Blood Connection and The American Red Cross.

The Blood Connection Mobile Drives:

• Tabor Correctional Institution – Mobile Unit Wednesday, May 28, 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• The Brunswick Center at Waccamaw (just over county line in Ash) – Mobile Unit Monday, May 19, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

American Red Cross Blood Drive:

• Town of Bolton – Sponsored Blood Drive Friday, May 8, at 5487 Silver Spoon Rd, Whiteville, 12:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m

Donating blood helps maintain a steady blood supply for hospitals serving Columbus County and surrounding communities.
