Free registration open for anglers ages 6–15; weekend includes fishing, lunch, and awards
Sunset Harbor, NC — The Brunswick County Fishing Club, Inc., located at 3620 Sunset Harbor Road SE, Bolivia, will host its 2026 Youth Fishing Tournament this weekend, offering young anglers ages 5 through 15 the chance to compete from any fishing spot in Brunswick County.
Registration is free and parents or guardians can reserve a spot by emailing bcfcinformation@gmail.com with the child’s name and age. All participants must have proper supervision while fishing from the beach, pier, dock, river, pond, or boat.
Schedule of Events
Thursday, June 4 – 6:30 p.m. All participants must check in at the Brunswick County Fishing Club for a required parent or guardian waiver.
Friday, June 5 & Saturday, June 6 Tournament fishing days.
Sunday, June 7 Fishing continues with lines out at 10 a.m. 12:00 p.m. – Lunch (pizza) 12:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony
Every registered youth angler will receive new gear to support their fishing skills.
