WHITEVILLE, NC — A 34-year-old Columbus County man, Michaaveeis Donnevick Brown, is facing serious felony charges following his arrest in connection with an August 2025 incident.
According to law enforcement records, Brown was served with outstanding criminal warrants charging him with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, alongside felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both warrants stem from an investigation into an incident that occurred on August 24, 2025.
Brown was taken into custody by local authorities and processed through the Columbus County judicial system. Detailed information regarding bond conditions and upcoming court appearances has not yet been released.
