Arrest Made in $250,000 Larceny and False Pretense Case

Whiteville NC – A Whiteville man is being held on a quarter-million dollar bond after being charged with property crimes. Travis Ryan Brown, 40, was arrested on the evening of August 3. He was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center for misdemeanor larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, and possession of stolen goods. His bond was set at $250,000 secured.
