Arabella Powell (11), along with her mother, Amanda Green (28), died tragically on Friday, July 10, 2026, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services commemorating Bella and Amanda’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church , with burial to follow in the family cemetery in Cerro Gordo.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
Survivors include her father, Forrest Powell; brother, Cannon Joel Freeman; grandparents, Kelli Green, David Ira Green (Kelly), Mary Faye McPherson, Chris & Sherri Bunch; uncles and aunts, Daniel Scott (Addie), Michael Cody Clamp (Ashley), David Ira Green, Jr. (Jessica), Jaide Harvey, Julian Harvey, Noel Harvey, Kaden Bunch, Tristan Bunch, Matthew McPherson, Zachary McPherson, Anthony Evans, Nikki Moore (Chris), Kelly Bowers (Scott); host of loving extended family, cousins, Whiteville Rescue Family, and a host of dear friends and church family.
