WHITEVILLE — A Whiteville woman was charged Thursday afternoon with driving while impaired and multiple traffic offenses.
Sharon Elaine Beverley, 62, was arrested at 3:53 p.m. on: – DWI – Expired registration – Open container in passenger area Document citation: “Bond Amount/Type: $2,000.00 / Unsecured Bond.”
North Carolina’s DWI laws impose mandatory license revocation upon arrest, and open‑container violations carry additional penalties.
She was released the same day.
