LITTLE RIVER, SC – Local veterans are invited to gather for a day of community and relaxation as the Those Who Served Foundation hosts its upcoming Veterans Meet & Greet Day.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cricket Cove Marina, located at 4495 Baker Street.

The afternoon is designed to foster camaraderie among those who have served in the armed forces. Organizers will provide a traditional cookout with free burgers and hot dogs, alongside recreational activities including cornhole games.

The venue, Cricket Cove Marina, offers a scenic backdrop for the event. Situated directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, the full-service marina is a well-known local landmark featuring a ship’s store and waterfront views that highlight the coastal beauty of the Little River area.

“Come out, connect, and spend the day with those who understand the journey,” the foundation shared in a statement, emphasizing the importance of fellowship within the local veteran population.

In addition to the food and games, representatives from the Those Who Served Foundation will be on-site to meet with attendees and discuss community resources and foundation initiatives.

The event is open to all veterans in the surrounding region. For further details or to learn more about the organization’s mission, visit their website at www.thosewhoservedfoundation.org
