WHITEVILLE — A Whiteville woman was arrested Monday evening on multiple misdemeanor charges following an incident that led deputies to take her into custody, according to detention center records.
Hilda Marie Scarborough, 42, of 837 Burkhead Street, was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center on March 9 at 6:20 p.m. She was charged with intoxicated and disruptive behavior, misdemeanor child abuse, and impeding traffic. Records show she was held under a $5,000 secured bond and released the following day.
All charges are listed as misdemeanors awaiting trial.
