Whiteville, NC — Strong turnout at two recent Veterans Benefits outreach events has prompted the Veterans Benefits Administration to schedule a third session at the Veterans Community Outreach Center, giving more Veterans the opportunity to receive one‑on‑one assistance with enrolling in VA benefits and getting answers to benefits‑related questions.

The first event on February 13 drew Veterans from across Southeastern North Carolina and neighboring states, with steady attendance throughout the day. A second session, held February 27, saw similar demand as Veterans sought help with claims, enrollment, and general benefits guidance. Organizers say the continued response underscores the need for accessible, in‑person support.
Because of that ongoing demand, a third date has now been added.

The upcoming session is open to all Veterans, regardless of where they live. Those with questions about benefits or those who need help getting signed up are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance.
