Temporary relocation in place while the Indian Trail Meeting Hall undergoes renovations

Southport, NC –– The City of Southport’s Forestry Committee will hold its next meeting on March 10 at 5:00 p.m. at the Jaycee Building, 309 N. Fodale Avenue.

The committee typically meets monthly and serves as an advisory group that helps guide the City’s efforts to protect and maintain Southport’s urban tree canopy, offering recommendations on tree care, preservation, and long‑term environmental stewardship.

The Forestry Committee normally meets at the Indian Trail Meeting Hall at 113 W. Moore Street, and meetings will return to that location once improvements are complete. The city meetings remain open to the public, though seating is limited.
