Boiling Spring Lakes, NC — Mayor Jeff Winecoff has declared a State of Emergency in response to Winter Storm Gianna, citing the need to protect public safety and maintain order as severe weather approaches.
The declaration takes effect January 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. and will remain in place until February 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. City officials urge residents to stay safe, limit travel, and check on neighbors during this time.
Emergency personnel and city employees have been directed to fully cooperate in implementing the declaration and supporting storm response efforts.
