Horry County Government: Public Meetings for the Week of August 10, 2026

Horry County, SC — The Horry County Government has a full slate of public meetings scheduled for this Monday and Tuesday.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will convene at 5:30 p.m. Monday, August 10 in Multipurpose Room B at the Horry County Government & Justice Center, 1301 Second Avenue in Conway. The meeting is open to the public. Public comment is accepted only for advertised public hearings related to zoning appeals, variances, and special exceptions.

The Infrastructure & Regulation Committee will meet at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11 in the County Council Committee Room at the Government and Justice Center, located at 1301 Second Avenue in Conway. Committee meetings are open to the public, though public comment is not typically included unless specifically listed on the agenda.

The Public Safety Committee follows at 11:00 a.m., also in the County Council Committee Room at the Government and Justice Center. This meeting is open to the public. As with other Council committees, public comment is not a standard part of the agenda unless explicitly added.

Later that evening, the Transportation Committee meets at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. The agenda for that session is available through the county’s website. Transportation Committee meetings are open to the public, and public input is permitted when included on the agenda.
