Rockingham Resident Held in Columbus County Detention Center on FTA Warrants

WHITEVILLE, NC — A 25-year-old Rockingham man was arrested late Tuesday night after failing to appear in court for prior charges.

Malachi Drake Daly was taken into custody by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 11:07 p.m. on August 4. Daly was booked on two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor.

He was held at the Columbus County Detention Center on a $1,500 secured bond before being released on August 5.

Any individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
