In addition to his wife and parents, Raymond was preceded in death by a daughter, Renee (Morenc) Hart. He is survived by his children; Raymond D. Morenc (Chris), Marie (Morenc) Barker (Kyle), and Steven L. Morenc. Grandchildren; Timothy Hart (Megan), Eric Morenc, Taylor Morenc, Steven Morenc, and Jacob Barker. Four great grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a Third-Degree Knights of Columbus. He retired as a supervisor from the Delaware River Port Authority after 25 years of service.
Father of four, always rooting for each of his children during any kind of sporting event; football, track, baseball, and softball, you name it he was there. He enjoyed coaching youth football. He was proud to be able to teach the 8–10-year-old. He loved to take cruises with his beautiful wife Liz, as he would call her and she would get mad.
Travel was in his blood. At the age of 91 he got a new passport. Hoping for that last adventure. His adventure ended at the age of 95, surrounded by his family. His memory and the memories that everyone has of him will last a lifetime.
