July 5 event to feature the Helms General Lee, free cookout, and family‑friendly surprises
Clarkton, NC –– Circle H Thrift Store & Resales LLC, located at 80 E. Green Street in Clarkton, is gearing up for one of its biggest community events yet – a full‑on “Dukes Day” celebration set for Friday, July 5, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Fans of the classic TV show The Dukes of Hazzard will get a rare treat as the Helms General Lee – the iconic orange Dodge Charger – rolls into the store for a three‑hour appearance. The store is turning the visit into a full community gathering, complete with food, cars, and family‑friendly fun.
The owner, Joe, says the event won’t be done halfway. He plans to fire up the grill and cook for everyone who comes out to spend the afternoon with the Circle H family, offering “good food, good people, cool cars, and a chance to make some memories together.”
Organizers also hinted that more surprises are in the works. Additional details will be released as the date approaches.
