Nakina Resident Charged with Intent to Sell Schedule II Narcotics

NAKINA, NC — A local man was taken into custody Monday afternoon following a narcotics investigation conducted by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies.

James Curtis Reaves, 43, of 1621 Ramsey Ford Road, Nakina, was arrested at 2:47 p.m. on July 27.

Reaves was formally charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance. Following his processing at the detention center, Reaves received a $10,000 unsecured bond and was released from custody while awaiting trial.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
