With the Heat the Way It Is, Columbus County Farmers Market Adjusts this Saturdays Hours

Whiteville, NC —  Due to the extreme heat, the Columbus County Community Farmers Market will open at 8:00 a.m. this Saturday instead of the usual 9:00 a.m. Organizers say shoppers can expect fresh corn and a wide variety of local goods, with many vendors may plan to wrap up earlier depending on conditions.

The market’s regular location is 132 Government Complex Drive, Whiteville.

For the July 4th holiday, the Farmers Market will relocate to Veterans Memorial Park of America, located at 6354 James B White Hwy S, for a special Independence Day event.
