Whiteville Search Yields Felony Drug Charges for Local Resident

WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon on felony drug charges following a Sheriff’s Office investigation.

Roger Dale Reaves, 59, of 3288 Gore Trailer Road, Whiteville, was arrested by Columbus County deputies at 1:12 p.m. on Aug. 12.

Reaves was charged with maintaining a dwelling or place for controlled substances (felony), simple possession of a Schedule III controlled substance (misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor). Reaves was released on a $3,500 secured bond following his booking.

All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
