WHITEVILLE — The Whiteville Police Department released its weekly newsletter this week, offering updates on recent cases and shining a spotlight on one of its own: Officer Bell.
The department’s “Highlight Zone” featured Officer Bell for his continued dedication to public service. Before joining the Whiteville Police Department, Bell served in the United States Army, a background the agency says reflects his longstanding commitment to protecting others. After completing his military service, he transitioned into law enforcement, where he now serves the citizens of Whiteville.
In its announcement, the department expressed appreciation for Bell’s work ethic and community‑focused approach, noting that his contributions strengthen both the agency and the city it serves.
The newsletter also included updates on recent investigations and departmental activity, part of the agency’s ongoing effort to keep residents informed and engaged.
“We appreciate Officer Bell and everything he does for our department and community,” the department said.
