WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville resident was taken into custody on Thursday evening following a felony burglary and larceny investigation conducted by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies executed the arrest of 28-year-old Mhalik Jhamal Graham, residing on South Franklin Street in Whiteville, at approximately 6:54 p.m. on Thursday, July 23.
According to court filings and law enforcement records, Graham was formally charged with felony breaking and/or entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. Investigators allege Graham illegally entered a structure and stole property from the location.
Following his apprehension, Graham was transported to the Columbus County Detention Center for processing, where a magistrate placed him under a $35,000 secured bond while he awaits his initial district court appearance.
Any individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
