Conway, SC — Conway Medical Center employees received an unexpected boost during a recent scavenger hunt when the VitaLink Conway team stepped in to help complete one of the final challenges. Participants needed a photo inside an ambulance, and the Critical Care crew quickly volunteered, turning the moment into an opportunity for connection rather than urgency.
VitaLink’s Critical Care team welcomed staff aboard the CCT ambulance, giving them a closer look at the specialized equipment and resources used in patient care. Crew members spent time answering questions, explaining the unit’s capabilities, and offering a brief window into the work that typically unfolds during high‑pressure situations. The visit also provided a chance to share a few laughs and enjoy a lighter moment outside the usual clinical environment.
Team members said experiences like this help strengthen relationships between healthcare partners. While collaboration often happens during emergencies, they noted that trust and familiarity are also built through everyday interactions that allow crews to engage with one another outside of patient care.
VitaLink Conway expressed appreciation to Conway Medical Center for including them in the scavenger hunt and said they look forward to future opportunities to connect with staff throughout the region..
