Holden Beach Road to Close for Pipe Replacement Near Civietown Road
SHALLOTTE, NC — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close a section of NC‑130 (Holden Beach Road) near Civietown Road began today Monday, April 6, 2026, for a Bridge Department pipe‑replacement project.
The closure will remain in effect day and night through April 24, 2026, while crews complete the work.
Detour Route:
NC‑130 East → Civietown Road SW → Mt. Pisgah Road SW → back to NC‑130 West (Approximate detour length: 6.5 miles)
Drivers should allow extra travel time, watch for signage and work crews, and use caution when traveling through the area.
