WHITEVILLE, NC — The roar of engines and the spirit of patriotism will converge at the Veterans Memorial Park of America on Saturday, April 11, as the 3rd Annual Thunder at the Park Car, Truck, and Bike Show rolls into town in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
Hosted by Veterans Memorial Park of America, Inc., the event promises a high-octane lineup of classic cars, custom trucks, and motorcycles, with judging beginning at 11 a.m. and awards presented for Best in Show, People’s Choice, and Each Class. Registration runs from 9 to 11 a.m., with early online sign-ups priced at $20 and day-of entries at $25.
In addition to the show, vendor spaces are available for local businesses and artisans, with 12×12 booths priced at $40. Organizers say all proceeds will benefit the continued development and preservation of the Veterans Memorial Park, located at 6354 James B White Hwy S, Whiteville, NC.
