NAKINA, NC — Emergency crews responded late Friday to a single‑vehicle crash that left a car partially submerged in a canal along Seven Creeks Highway near Gores Chapel Road, according to Nakina Fire & Rescue.
Emergency Response on Scene
Units from Chief 10, EMS 10, Truck 10, Squad 10, and QRV 11 arrived to find the vehicle in the waterway, prompting an immediate lane closure so responders could safely work the scene. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
