The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the Narcotics Unit, cracked an investigation involving a series of larcenies impacting the south end of Brunswick County, North Carolina.
After an extensive investigative effort, Charles Joseph Williams and Susan Jo Williams, both of Supply, NC, were located and apprehended December 31, 2025, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with the assistance of the North Myrtle Beach Police Department.
The investigation included multiple search warrants at a residence on Vinton Street and a storage unit, leading to the recovery of nearly $60,000 in stolen property. The recovered items are connected to multiple larceny cases affecting Supply, Shallotte, and the surrounding Southern Brunswick County communities.
Investigators reviewed evidence, tracked stolen property, and linked recovered items to reported offenses. The Narcotics Unit provided critical assistance in investigative locating the suspects.
This is an open investigation, additional charges are anticipated as evidence continues to be processed.
